As Product Manager you will hold commercial responsibilities and cover areas that go from brand image to the overall strategy of a product, to pricing and distribution. In SkylineDx, you will lead the product launch to market. It is a crucial role for the adoption of the product in different markets with a direct impact on the company’s development and growth. The Product Manager strives for the optimal customer user experience. In this role, you will work with the product development teams, developing and supporting strategies to reach all relevant stakeholders related to the product and respective disease areas. This includes distributor management for commercialization.
You will perform your work from our office in Rotterdam (hybrid work model) and report to the Senior Director Corporate Development.
Together, we ensure the translation of clinically relevant scientific discoveries into reliable medical diagnostic assays for diagnosis, prognosis and drug effectiveness prediction that will ultimately contribute to improved patient care.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing plans – strategy/ tactics.
- Manage marketing budget.
- Arrange events and campaigns.
- Manage products throughout life cycle ensuring commercial success.
- Drive marketing activities and development of sales tools to maximize revenues.
- Execute launch of new products.
- Develop product portfolio strategies.
- Distributor strategy and management
- Support business development strategies
- Represent the voice of customers.
- Drive high standards for customer service and commercial excellence.
- Work with R&D for product development.
You have
- a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Management, Life Sciences or equivalent.
- > 5 years of marketing experience.
- experience in the Life Sciences sector (pharma; medical devices; diagnostics).
- experience in oncology.
- preferably experience with quality processes, e.g., complaints, PMS, vigilance, change control.
- experience with product launch and events/ campaigns.
- an excellent command of both spoken and written English.
- a result-oriented attitude.
- an entrepreneurial mind-set and can work in an environment with high quality standards.
- the ability to motivate the team and manage both internal and external collaborations.
